David G. Ioseliani is a distinguished academician and one of the foremost figures in the field of interventional cardiology in the Russian Federation. He currently serves as the Vice President and Founder of the Russian Society of Interventional Cardioangiology, Head of the Department of Interventional Cardioangiology of Sechenov University, and as the President of the Center of Interventional Cardioangiology, where he continues to lead advancements in cardiovascular research, education, and clinical practice.
A graduate of the First Pavlov State Medical University, he has dedicated his career to improving patient outcomes through innovation in interventional and preventive cardiology. His exceptional contributions to medical science have earned him several prestigious national honors, including the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" (3rd and 4th Class), the USSR State Prize, the Russian Government Prize for Science and Technology, and the Medal "In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow."
